Driver Profiles
In 2006, at the age of 16, Danielle Ossenfort was the first full-time female driver to participate in the Sprint Car Division at the Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, SD. Danielle earned her first Sprint Car Feature Event win on August 8, 2008 at the Black Hills Speedway's half mile track.
Danielle didn't stop there. In 2008 she proceeded on to being a full-timer with the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region where she finished in sixth place. Throughout the season Danielle excelled, placing in the top ten in numerous races. Her most exciting win was at the Sweetwater Speedway in Rocky Springs, WY where she was awarded second place. Her racing has taken her to various states including Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wyoming, to name a few.
Finishing 5th in 2009 Danielle continued to run a limited American Sprint Car Series schedule with the Rocky Mountain Region. The racing schedule in 2009 has also expanded into Idaho and Montana.
Currently, Danielle is working on finishing her third year at Colorado State University, with a major of mechanical engineering. After hitting the books, Danielle will be looking forward to another great year racing in 2010.
